It is hard to plan around when they will be open, but if you are in Laurel in the third weekend of a month, it is a place you must check out! They have started bumping up their prices as the popularity has risen, but there are still great deals and it is a blast just strolling round and getting inspired with ideas if nothing else. Refurbished furniture, flipped antiques, handmade crafts, clothes, basically everything you could ever think of at amazing prices. All booths are located inside the building. There are rows and rows of booths that locals have set up with all sorts of amazing deals. I get giddy just thinking about being able to go shopping around at the rusty chandelier. They have the most affordable prices, great sales, and fashionable, up to date clothing. Located in the Sawmill Mall, just a short drive around the corner from the historic area, you would never think a treasure like this would exist. Make sure to get a picture with the popular Laurel Mercantile mural on the side of the building. They also have a little community park beside it where you can relax in some chairs. I will admit that I got a magnet and t-shirt with my name on it, how could I not? This is a great place to find a souvenir or just some fun must-haves for your house. It is an adorable shop with goodies and trinkets lining the walls all from local vendors and entrepreneurs around Laurel. The Napiers also have a shop called the Laurel Mercantile. (Try 4th-7th Avenues) Shop at the Laurel Mercantile Keep an eye out of Erin and Ben! They are a sweet couple and often seen out and about. A couple named Erin and Ben Napier are redesigning and refurbishing old homes in downtown Laurel.Ī drive around the historic district is a must on your list. In the past few years, a show called Home Town was aired on HGTV that features Laurel.
